Print Materials

The goal of the Bancroft Memorial Library, as a community resource for topical and historical resources, is to provide free access to informational materials necessary for the exchange of ideas and informed independent decisions.

The following material is available within the library:
Books

Request a free library card to borrow books, including large print and speed reads from BML.

​Search the catalogs as follows:
  1. First search the CWMars Catalog for books available from BML to see if the book is in Hopedale and is available for checkout.
  2. If not available, search the full CWMars Catalog to see if other libraries in the network have the book and if it is available.
  3. If not available, search the Commonwealth Catalog to see if the book is available in any Massachusetts library.
Newspapers

​Print copies of current editions of the following papers are available to read while visiting BML:

  • USA Today
  • The Wall Street Journal

Sit and read one of the many different print magazines available, such as
