Library Trustees

The Bancroft Memorial Library's Board of Trustees, established in 1886, is an elected body that governs Hopedale's public library. Board members serve three-year terms and are responsible for:
  • Setting library policies, rules, and regulations
  • Managing library property and assets
  • Overseeing town-appropriated funds
  • Appointing the Library Director
  • Establishing written policies for library services and activities
