Library Trustees
The Bancroft Memorial Library's Board of Trustees, established in 1886, is an elected body that governs Hopedale's public library. Board members serve three-year terms and are responsible for:
- Setting library policies, rules, and regulations
- Managing library property and assets
- Overseeing town-appropriated funds
- Appointing the Library Director
- Establishing written policies for library services and activities
